Absolutely NOT! Never use water on oil or grease fires (Class K/F). Water is denser than oil, so it sinks to the bottom. Once it hits the high heat, the water instantly vaporizes and expands into steam, blowing the burning oil out of the pan. This causes an explosive fireball that can catch the ceiling and walls on fire and cause severe burns to nearby staff.
