What are the fire exit requirements for commercial buildings?

We are leasing a new commercial floor in Dadar for 80 employees. How many emergency exits are mandatory on our floor under local fire codes?

According to NBC 2016 Part 4, any floor in a commercial building with an occupant load exceeding 50 persons must have at least two independent emergency exits leading to fire escape staircases. The exits should be placed as far apart as possible to ensure that if one staircase gets blocked by smoke, the other remains available for escape.
