What is the distance required between two external yard hydrants?
We have a large manufacturing yard in Nagpur. What is the maximum allowable spacing between external yard hydrants under Maharashtra Fire norms? Is there a guideline?

Under NBC 2016 Part 4 and local MIDC guidelines, the standard spacing between two external yard hydrants (landing valves) should not exceed 45 meters (150 feet) in ordinary hazard occupancies, and 30 meters (100 feet) in high hazard industrial zones. This ensures that a standard 15-meter hose reel combination can reach any point of the outer perimeter.
