What is the height limit for buildings before fire lifts become mandatory?

We are constructing a high-rise residential project in Khar, Mumbai. At what height does a dedicated Fire Lift become mandatory under MCGM or Maharashtra building rules?

According to NBC 2016 Part 4 and Maharashtra Unified Development Control and Promotion Regulations (UDCPR), a dedicated Fire Lift is mandatory for all high-rise buildings exceeding 15 meters (approx. 5 stories) in height. Fire lifts must have fire-resistant doors (2-hour fire rating), emergency power backups from diesel generators, and a speed capable of reaching the top floor within 60 seconds to allow firefighters rapid rescue access.
