Under IS 15105 guidelines for light and ordinary hazard spaces, the maximum spacing between two sprinkler heads along a branch line must not exceed 3.6 meters (12 feet), and the maximum area covered by a single sprinkler head must not exceed 12 square meters (130 sq ft) to prevent dry zones during discharge.
