What is the shelf life of a fire blanket in a commercial kitchen?

We are buying safety gear for our catering outlet in Colaba. What is the shelf life of woven fiberglass fire blankets? Do they need to be replaced after a few years?

Woven fiberglass fire blankets do not have a strict expiration date because fiberglass does not degrade or rot over time. However, in a greasy commercial kitchen environment, oil or soot can settle on the blanket surface over the years. If a blanket gets saturated with grease, it can become flammable. It is recommended to inspect them annually and replace them if they are stained, torn, or show grease accumulation.
