What is the standard flow rate for fire hydrant pumps in high-rises?
We are buying a new electric fire pump for our commercial tower in Worli. What is the required flow rate in Liters Per Minute (LPM) under MCGM rules?

For high-rise commercial structures exceeding 24 meters in height, the standard main electric fire pump must have a minimum discharge flow rate of 2280 LPM (approx. 600 GPM) at a minimum head pressure of 7.0 kg/cm². The pump must be backed by a standby diesel engine pump of identical capacity to maintain water supply during electrical grid failures.
