What is the step-by-step process to renew a Fire NOC in Pune?

Our residential cooperative housing society's Fire NOC is expiring next month. What is the list of documents required for submission, and how long does the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) fire inspection take?

To renew a Fire NOC in Pune (PMC/PCMC), follow this process:

1. Service and Test System: Ensure all hydrants, pumps, alarms, and sprinklers are fully serviced and functional.
2. Obtain Form B: Get a Form B (Certificate of Maintenance and Compliance) issued by a government-licensed agency (like FirePause) after testing. This certificate must be obtained twice a year (January and July).
3. Documents Compilation: Prepare copies of the original NOC, building floor plans, municipal tax receipts, and Form B.
4. Apply Online: Submit the application through the Maharashtra Fire Services / PMC portal.
5. Fire Officer Inspection: The department will schedule an inspector visit. If compliant, the renewed NOC is issued in 15-20 working days.
