Why does a jockey pump start frequently in a hydrant line?

Frequent short-cycling of a jockey pump indicates a loss of pressure in the hydrant pipeline grid. This is not normal and is caused by either:
1. Underground Pipe Leaks: Small hairline cracks in MS pipes.
2. Faulty Non-Return Valve (NRV): The NRV at the pump outlet is leaking water back into the suction tank.
3. Landing Valve Seepages: Check if any yard hydrants are dripping.

We recommend testing the pump valves and checking the NRV gaskets.
