FirePause Reflective Beam Smoke Detector – 50m Range

The FirePause Reflective Beam Smoke Detector uses an infrared light beam projected from a combined transmitter/receiver unit to a reflector prism on the opposite wall. Smoke entering the beam path attenuates the IR signal, triggering an alarm. A single unit protects a beam length of up to 50 metres, making it ideal for large open spaces where point-type detectors would require excessive numbers of devices.
