The FirePause Rate-of-Rise Heat Detector (57°C) combines two detection methods in one unit: it activates when temperature rises more than 8–10°C per minute (rate-of-rise), or when ambient temperature reaches 57°C fixed maximum. This dual-function design minimizes false alarms while ensuring reliable detection in areas where smoke detectors would be prone to nuisance triggers.
